Friends and associates, including those from the past, make appearances now, with a valuable brand new contact made mid-month, under the new Moon on Thursday, September 14. Your career continues to tread water until September 3, when it will take a leap forward thanks to Venus going direct in your tenth house.

Bring it on! Feverish pitch, out of your mind, enough: I have complete faith that you end September getting exactly what you want. Your better luck begins as August ends with a full Moon in your fifth house of fun on August 30. After an endless stretch of waiting on a loved one to make up their mind, it lightens up.

I know you are emotionally wrung out and can’t think clearly anymore. But guess what?

Not only do you survive, you triumph.

And it is extraordinary. One for the history books.

Look at the support you – finally – have for this.

Listen to the planets, Scorpio, listen to the planets. For in your most social house you now have: life-giving Sun; analytical Mercury; sexy Mars; wise Pallas; and a fresh new Virgo Moon September 14.

I know how tough and self-sufficient you are, but ask for exactly what you need. With so much positive energy in detailed Virgo, go as detailed – as exacting – as outright anal – as you can go. Make a long, annoying list for everyone you know. And check it twice. If not thrice.

Go step by step and make a very clear plan for your future. Delegate tasks to everyone.

At the very least, you can relax, stop worrying about money as much, and take a good cleansing breath as that armor you wear so vigilantly begins to loosen.

Many of you have lost weight and so the armor you wear is also literally beginning to loosen.

Now let us talk specifically about your health.

Listen to anything strange going on. If a part of your body is troubling you, listen to it, and hear what it is telling you.

This includes your mind. Torturing yourself, for instance, or obsessing.

You often endure past the point of pain, and this is no good. Let yourself off the hook now. Let yourself heal. Locate the right specialist.

This is a social time, too, and that isolation you can fall into has not had its grip so strongly on you. Of all the signs, Scorpio is the most alone.

But an act of love is presented to you. And as the amazing Jeanette Winterson – Scorpio Jupiter – wrote:

“The world is surely wide enough to walk without fear.”

In love: There’s an excitement about you. Like a tree itching to shake off its dry leaves, you want change, but you need to work on trust issues. Stay right where you are, even if you crave escape.

At work: there are some important decisions to be made – and if you don’t make them, they will be made for you.

There will be more travel coming up for you, and I see you enjoying this immensely.

Keep love and work separate. It goes without saying…

Drama can be tedious.

Now when the going gets tough – and somehow with Scorpio, it’s always when the tough gets going – remember “your awesome traits”:

It is important that you remember how great you are because you are frequently so hard on yourself.

I am also afraid that you are too cynical to believe how great things are going to be for you this September, but – take a chance. Believe.

And go for it.

Just remember that contacts from all areas of your life, both personal and professional, even that “someone”, will help you this September. You cannot predict where this help is going to come from. Old friends and cronies will pop up at this time in your life. New people come into your life, too.

You are direct and straightforward, and you reach the people you want to reach.

We can’t control other people — it is important to remember this. Everyone is on their own journey. All we can control is our own reactions, and actions. Even when other people cross lines, or our limits.

But you do pull off the political coup of a lifetime. You are dancing.

A part of you had stopped believing, and that ain’t right. You may be thinking, this is too good to be true. But it’s not. Even with your career taking off like a rocket and colleagues loving you, you are still torn when it comes to your relationships! It’s always something, right? Pulled this way and that by your disappointment, (I refuse to call it bitterness because you’re not there yet, and I hope you never will be) it is hard to sustain a smile. But you’re doing a great job. No one deprives themselves or works harder than you.

As a sign that prefers quality over quantity, you will see a natural wisdom in paring down the non-essentials. Anything or anyone that runs interference or feels like a waste of time, must go. While you’d rather avoid politics and groups, you can be pulled into tricky relationship dynamics.

Old loves and professional friends have made some painful waves but now it’s time concentrate on your life path again: what on earth you’re here for. Your career and ambitions, and a lot of ancient stuff you never got around to doing, even acknowledging. No one’s going to do it for you, Scorpio, but a lot of people will bring back best parts of you, with your unique talents. And for this: express gratitude.

You have the ability to help get someone or something important off the ground, which is a reward in itself. Your contributions make all the difference.
