Your image. Re-defined this month. You reach the end of a work routine as early as July 3, when a full Capricorn Moon lights up your sixth house. And then it’s time for yourself, a full on celebration with so many planets lighting up Leo and your first house.  You’ve worked hard, and you deserve this. To heal yourself rather than holding up others for a change! And let loose into uncharted waters, explore your broader horizons, and work on a new plan you have in mind.

As July progresses, that missing person comes back. But…and it’s a big but. Literally anything can happen. For now, all you know is you need to spend time with your dreams again.

And what you need to streamline now is your priorities. You have so many options in your career life – a million pots a bubbling on the stove – but you will succeed the best if you narrow them all down. To one or two, to which you give your all.

You’ve got the PR down already – that’s in the bag. Leos are generally so good-looking and magnetic and charismatic and charming that the world cannot help but love them, and to hang on their every word. And that’s great — but it’s not enough now.

Be the absolute best at what you can do. No ifs or buts. No excuses.

Your journey outside the everyday usual routine I talked about earlier is really all about finding this, getting to this yourself. You will probably have to do this alone. It’s between you yourself alone and your creator. This is one of the most important karmic times of your life right now, dear Leo.

Don’t even think about not rising to the occasion or disappointing yourself. I won’t let you! I believe in you too much!!

Congratulations! You are finding your power, finding your true passion.

For those of you who have been pulled back into the darkness too many times — and darkness is at odds with your natural self, the SUN, after all — this will feel like a strange and mysterious time.

This month may at times seem to have a kind of milky fog around it. You may just feel utterly exhausted, as in blurry, with no sleep. It’s a very short period, however, and nothing to be worried about. What it really is is a translucent sheet of protection offered by the universe for you to go through your almighty change.

Remember, change, even when it is the best thing, is traumatic in its very nature.

Whether you are getting the itch to throw out old clothes or sell an old (albeit lovely) albatross around your neck – go with it.

With the universe’s protection, you will see the fine results most dramatically in your work and your creativity.

And you will do it. Breathe, and do it.

A loved one may have betrayed you harshly. You may have had to wait longer in your quest for birth (waiting, I believe, is the hardest part of the human condition). You may have been feeling like a version of Sartre’s existential angst.

Now, there are some lazy male lions – wild lions in nature sleep twenty hours a day – only the males – who will not ever want to get it together this lifetime, and my hat is off to them, but they are probably not reading my horoscope.

Drifting is not the same as laziness. You are searching. You are trying to accomplish. You wish to give birth (on all levels).

When your ruler the shining Sun is in the darkest house – the twelfth – it sometimes feels like the darkest time. It is the darkest before dawn. And you are being protected.

You learn much this July.

It is better for you to go your own way, have some quiet alone time, than to head directly into the fray. The Sun, and your glorious ruler, is in your twelfth house of seclusion, and you will gain many psychic insights if you spend some time in there! Mysteries will be solved, and hidden feelings revealed.

You’ve had more than enough drama for a long while. And much of this energy has been concerning another person, their needs, their issues.

You’ve been sympathetic, generous, and kind. You’ve given time to helping everyone else, so naturally you need a break for yourself now.

Well…Only one warning. There’s a little chaos and people-stirring-up in the cards for you this month. Flirtations are fraught with danger if you’re already attached. I’m only here to advise you to keep your royal bearing. To not lose your dignity and cool.

Venus retrograde, an unusual occurrence – only once every one and a half years – is taking place in your sign and in your first house from July 22 to September 3. Because it is in your sign, you will be doubly affected by it.

Exes tend to pop up during a Venus retrograde.

Single Leo: If you want a serious relationship, I would not start one during a Venus retrograde, beginning July 22. The passion will evaporate after your planet Venus goes direct again, September 3. The relationship will falter, and become challenging.

Even though it may certainly last. It will just never be easy.

One client of mine started a relationship during a Venus retrograde. She was gaga at the beginning, and then complained bitterly for the next 14 years. Yes, it lasted 14 years. (This was part of the problem.) When it was over, she regretted her lost, wasted time.

Perfect for a brief fling, or for reflecting over a past lover – not for a life mate.

For attached and committed Leo, beware conflicts with loved ones – breathe before you speak – and now is a brilliant time to master your meditation practice. Ten minutes a day is all it takes.

You may want to return to long-forgotten sensations. But do not dive in. It’s a time to be cautious.

As long as no one gets hurt (including you), this will be a fabulous month. You deserve to have it all.
