Pisces May 2026

You open May at Beltane with a magical Moon in your ninth mind-expansive house on Friday, May 1. On this day, Pisces, it can’t be business as usual, it just can’t be. You must do something different in your one wild and precious life (poet Mary Oliver) to celebrate the day! I see an invitation coming from far away. Many of you are traveling, or elsewhere, if even only in your mind. You’ve had enough of reality for the moment and you’re sick of worrying about money.

Traditionally, now it’s a time to burn away the old and purify for the new season ahead. To go on a nature walk, even in the rain, to appreciate the blooming season. To plant, cook and create a Maypole…and finally, to leave offerings of cream or whiskey for the fairies. They are considered to be your neighbors.

For the pagans, it marked the beginning of summer, the sexual joining together of the Spring and summer gods. Now we celebrate it as a Celtic fire festival on May 1 focusing on fertility, nature, and abundance. Midway between the spring equinox and summer solstice, it’s ritualized with dances around the Maypole dances, lighting bonfires and candles, crafting yellow flower crowns, and enjoying outdoor feasts.

Are you doing any of these things? Didn’t think so.

You’re thinking agreements as April ends, and you’re thinking right. A contract you finalize right before May begins will bring you extraordinary profits. Do it, Pisces, do it!

You’ll be SO relieved that you took stock – under that full Scorpio Moon on Beltane, no less – and made necessary revisions. For you’re going in your most ambitious new life direction yet! Your lucky opportunities are there, people who were not so forthcoming with their help in the past are going to be so this month, you have brighter financial prospects, you have a job offer. So it’s up to you to take advantage of these and to make a profit from them.

Let’s say you sniff at low pay (but you work so hard! Yes, I know, I know, Pisces) or you don’t like to ask people a second time for something, or you’re not naturally aggressive enough to seize a financial opportunity  – this May you change into someone who does these things!

As May ends, you feel relief in your relationships as the air clears. It’s also a good time to have a heart-to-heart about your needs and what makes you most happy.

Something that has been wounded in you, will heal. You will feel good about something that you previously felt bad about. Old issues will resurface and be resolved.
