The most wonderful turn now is sexy Mars going direct in your sign and in your house of looks this Sunday, February 23. Mars has been in a nasty retrograde, making everyone lose their temper, riling you up more than anyone, and it’s now thankfully out of retrograde and making you look great. Mars is the planet of sex and passion as well as war, and when it’s in your sign it adds intense charisma and hotness, the most desirable you will be all year. This magic period of attraction lasts until April 18.

Also quite wonderful is the news that Pluto has left your seventh house of relating with others – after fifteen long hard years. Never to return in your lifetime (not for another 250 years). Relating with others becomes much easier and goes more smoothly. This improves all your relationships, in love, in business, and in work.

This month, in particular, areas of your ninth house surge forward – the international, the far away, publishing and education. You broaden your horizons, you expand your life.

Cancer is more fiercely attached to their origins than any other sign. And your origins are being sorely tested. All that you have believed in is being challenged. (Hello, United States.) Even if you travel or move a million miles away. Even if you rebel against everything your history is, or was, and do everything opposite, your choices still come from the mother, the motherland, the mother tongue, the mother ship. It is the strongest bond there is. It is unbreakable. But now, you do begin to look outside of this. To look beyond.

Late March, the awesome news is that, at the same time, your career is going to skyrocket. Your tenth house of your main profession and your public reputation will be blessed with an insane amount of planetary energy. (And yes, you have worked hard for it, you deserve it; it is hardly the lottery or manna falling from the sky.)

I see these two areas combining – fantastically – so that your most important choice will most likely be made around your work and career. Recognition of your talent is too great at this time, and the professional opportunities too amazing to turn your back on them.

At the same time – ah, the complexities of being a deep, sensitive Cancer! – you’ll feel like retreating – into your shell, of course – and you’ll feel a strong resistance to giving up anything you have (clutched in your claws) right now. Whether that is a place, a relationship, a domestic set up or routine.

But you’ll have to decide.

At the same time – oh, yes, March has many layers for you – issues involving shared monies, joint bank accounts and resources may become challenging. Due to Pluto now in your eighth house. Issues of control and power – two of Pluto’s favorite areas – will rear their ugly heads, and you may find yourself arguing over who decides, who has the final say. Over who, what, where.

My best advice, dear one? Take a step back. Stay out of the fray. Refuse to fight. Think long term. Think of what is best for you. Retreat and pause before you speak (or yell). Be prepared to give up something, or someone, to gain something or someone better.

It may feel like the hardest decision you’ve ever had to make. And you know what? It will be the best decision you’ve ever had to make, too. Trust yourself. Believe in yourself.

And ask for professional advice. Maybe a reading would be good now? Don’t be afraid to start on a new tack or go forward with a new project. You’ll get lots of help for it early March. I bet my bottom dollar, somehow, somewhere, this brings you back to your true and first love. Whatever or whomever that may be. Whether it be your own education, your writing, your mother, your high school sweetheart.

Cancer, you have got to take a leap of faith. Just do it!

Remember: crabs have survived, evolving all the time, for five hundred million years. Your species is the most successful species, the most successful evolution on the planet.

Put another way, the reason you’ve survived for so long is because, like the crab, way down there on the ocean floor, you are always looking up for predators, Chicken Little style. You watch your back.

And your front. And your pincers. And your head.

Thus, I would never advise you to cease from looking, but you can take a step now. Especially sideways, as a good and wary crab does. Approach in an indirect and unobtrusive manner, but approach. Hold your breath. Right now. Breathe in. Breathe in deep. Hold it.

Now let it go.

Prepare to join forces with another, or others, monetarily. A new company. A new community. A new family.

The ninth house, like its ruler Sagittarius, is a very generous house. It only knows how to give. It gives you education, travel, foreign climes, law, philosophy, belief systems. 2025 is a life-changing year.
