Cancer April 2026

You may feel April is your last hurrah, (albeit with plenty of money), but there’s actually an exciting new path ahead for you, the likes of which you haven’t seen in three years. Courtesy of the April 17 Aries new moon: a huge professional, public opportunity. Big, bold, beautiful.

You want your rightful reward. But there’s a warning to be patient, that it can’t all be done at once. You’re still in the waiting stage. Those of you adventuring outwards, godspeed. It is an ambitious road you walk.

You’ve been given a gift, dear Cancer, and you must share it.

The one thing to beware of at this time is temper. A situation which has just gone on too long might have you nearing the end of your tether and patience, so just hold on. Aggro Mars makes many NUTS after it enters its sign of Aries in your tenth house on April 9.

Hold onto your seats, crabby mesdames and monsieurs!

This is all very well – I can hear you say – BUT the destiny of certain professional associations is still obscure. And I understand your worry.

At the same time, remember that honey really works wonders, (you catch more flies with honey than with vinegar) and you succeed best during this monumental time by being at your most graceful and at least ACTING very grateful.

And you’re the sign of the mother. You’re often very close with your own mother — and mother those you love. Why not mother yourself?

Remember, your ruler is the Moon. As I write for young crabs:

The moon is the star of feelings, intuition, and memory. She is your emotional anchor planet. She moves the oceans and us, too, since 90 percent of our bodies are made up of water! Think about it.

Inside every human and animal, 90 percent of who we are — especially our emotions and our unconscious — is being rhythmically moved like the tides. We can’t see this gravitational force, but we can still feel it from 239,000 miles away. Sometimes, what is most powerful is invisible. You, lunar Cancer, already instinctively know this. (Luna means “moon” in Latin!)

So it’s time to follow your love and your heart. You, who are naturally cautious, always moving sideways like the crab in nature, can afford to be daring — and trust.

Money becomes the primary focus, but I believe, dear Crab, the two are connected. There will be a good financial outcome to your career development.

Brava! If anyone deserves this, it’s YOU! Congratulations.

Many smart crabs have been looking for a new shell to live in, or to refurbish the one they already have. Fantastic results are coming – but you will need to have patience. Just give it time, and it will happen.

Meanwhile, “home at the ranch” as they say, be careful of where you sleep (and with whom). I am attempting to be humorous but some of my meaning is very serious.

The tenth house also rules your public reputation. Don’t blow it, Cancer! With all the pressure you’ve been under (and some of you have been waiting forever for the fruits of your labors of your labors to come through) it is normal and healthy to go wild once in a while. Or to just…seek comfort.

But remember, with all this intensity coming up in your public reputation, anything can happen. It can be negative OR positive. What it does mean, sans doute, is that, whatever it is, things won’t be the same again.

The only real warning this month is challenging transformations in your partner or partners. They will be difficult and stubborn and feel impossible.

Keep your eye on the prize.

And what a prize it will be.

I will congratulate you on your work – you have been doing everything right – and there is more good news up ahead due to everything moving into your tenth house of career and achievement, and your rise in popularity. It is in a DYNAMIC phase, after a long period of dormancy.

It is time to trust and be happy again. I am here to tell you that April is not the time to make sudden moves, nor try to escape. But it is the time to clear away what you have suffered, and to go forward to a happier future. And you will.

I rarely allow the supernatural to play much of a part in my readings. Not at all in my daily life. Like you, dear Crab, I need my self-protection, and I feel things with too much sensitivity as it is.

But – I swear. This happened five years ago for you, and it’s happening again now. What happened was positively WEIRD. I hereby sum it up again.

The world’s tide is bearing you along, dear Cancer. You’re forgiven for going forward, and loving, and being happy again. For falling in love with life again.
