2025 brings you back to a life of creativity and romance, of fun and play. It’s been a long time, Aquarius. You’ve been living the life of a monk, quite a life of extreme self-deprivation. But brilliant, original, unconventional you needs to fly – around the world if possible – and you have a better chance of doing that this year than anything else. And if not literally, you will do it in your mind. By expanding your vision, learning something completely new, going out on the body electric…You won’t stay in the same place, I can guarantee you.
You get a daring taste of this soon as Monday, December 30. On this day, a new Capricorn Moon occurs in your most psychic house. You may very well experience a brief vision of your future.
2025 will be an exciting year. My only warning concerns finances, as Saturn is present in your second house of money, still wishing you to teach you the necessary lessons, and Saturn will present the greatest challenge.
My other warning concerns warrior planet Mars, and fortunately this will only have to be fought until Sunday, January 23, when Mars goes direct again.
You need to watch all the short fuses around you. Yes, Mars is in retrograde!
Sexy Mars is traditionally the Roman god of war – Ares in the Ancient Greek – and it affects us ALL. Right now, Mars is in a particularly nasty retrograde, making everyone’s fuses extra short, making us impulsive, impatient, fiery, quick to offense (and to offend), and causing outright fights. Avoid confrontation during this retrograde. The retrograde can also make you tired, and you will require more rest. It began December 6 and lasts until February 23, 2025. Our environment is highly charged at this time, and you need to take extra good care of yourself. Take a breath before you speak or react – or post. Stay in peace.
Mars is closer to Earth when it retrogrades so its power is stronger on us. It is not as easy for arguments to blow over or for anger to subside. Mars reaches its peak in the cycle, which is its opposition with the Sun on January16, 2025, midway through the retrograde cycle when Mars is closest to Earth. It will feel like the world is on fire.
Full disclosure: I am most worried about Monday, January 6, an infamous anniversary for the U.S., when retrograde Mars will move into the country’s sun sign of Cancer. I am not looking forward to this day.
YOU need to watch out most for the full Moon of Monday, January 13 in your sixth house of health and work, indicating a potential health scare. This would be a good time to consult with that specialist you’ve been putting off.

Listen to this on persona non grata. Wikipedia states: literally meaning “an unwelcome person”, is a legal term used in diplomacy that indicates a proscription against a person entering the country. It is the most serious form of censure which one country can apply to foreign diplomats, who are otherwise protected by diplomatic immunity from arrest and other normal kinds of prosecution. Very powerful in today’s charged political climate.
All Aquarians come from a different land. I have that, too. It’s just the way it is. You crossed here from another culture. I do see that you, like myself, come from a different culture, literally, here on earth. And how wonderful this is. You are not only doing an elegant job crossing over, but you are fulfilling your symbol of the water bearer: pouring water – disseminating new ideas – into the world.
What a gift. What a genius gift.
But you will still occasionally experience the legal status of persona non grata. I feel it all the time! You just can’t let it get in the way of your path, and, as I say, you do have to write about the experience in order to complete your fortune. Write about it online. The third house rules the internet and publishing and your wounded healer asteroid Chiron is in there – now it is time to heal the wound that never heals.
Fact too is you can’t win em all. You can’t be friend to every single person in the world. Some people just don’t get you.
Everything is in your twelfth house of retreat right now. You’re in rest mode. Solitude. You should be lying back and unfolding your arms. Ideally, you should be in a retreat of some kind, or getting time with yourself. Recovering your sexy Aquarius coolness!
So for now: Rest. Write. Meditate. You are in a period of recovery. Give it a break. Relax a little. And writing about the persona non grata part – which is going to make you a fortune.
Finally, this month you attract a new admirer. You will feel attracted to someone like forbidden fruit.
I would keep it forbidden or take a bite. Attached Aquarius, stay away, and single Aquarius, you can dabble, but really, for both of you, keep in mind that you will be highly visible following January 15, and you need to be working on your professional reputation. If you’re thinking of the forbidden fruit as relationship material, you’re just not thinking straight. You require a real equal, your true equivalent.
