Cancer March 2026

You’re tired of the rut and you’re breaking out, Cancer. March is all about moves and steps into the unknown. New jobs, new homes. Travel and other cultures. Also about dramatic connections and communications, especially under a lunar eclipse full Moon in your third house on March 3.

Be careful of exploding then. Your words are powerful. You may finally break with an old sibling-type friend, or rather, fulfill your decades-long journey with this person. With an actual sibling, of course, it’s more complicated, but it indicates a huge resolution in this first week of March.

Expansion time. You love security and stability, so be brave. It’s not only necessary, it’s better. Following an unbearable situation which you simply couldn’t bear any longer – this is a job or relationship – you realize: You are free.

Andre Gide, Moon in Cancer, wrote: One does not discover new lands without consenting to lose sight of the shore for a very long time.

Go for the unexplored, the unopened presents. You are leaving a familiar shore, yes, but it may well have been the dire shore of Dunkirk. For you didn’t know how much longer you could have survived it.

Being a careful crab, you have back up plans, but in the absence of any, it’s OKAY. You can fall back on protective bountiful Jupiter. IN YOUR SIGN OF CANCER. You have four more months of this spectacular luck and opportunities until June 30. You have important decisions to make in terms of a new life path.

The ninth house is traditionally ruled by Sagittarius, so its nature is expansive and huge. This is not a retiring house. Because it’s winter, your body may be asking you for plenty of food and plenty of sleep – but your mind is a different matter.

More of you will be involved in some type of educational activity than ever before. And in trying new things. If you’ve been wondering about that yoga / astronomy / mathematics / writing / photography course, why not enroll? Now is an excellent time for this.

Now the ninth house also rules other cultures and foreign people, so you may be exposed to different languages as well, much to your benefit. Don’t be surprised if you fall in love with a foreigner.

Publishing and publication is especially favored this month.

The real challenge now, dear Cancer, is inside yourself. And, man, is it deep in there! The floodgates holding your past and your creativity will literally burst open. This is thanks to Mercury retrograde here in your ninth house, February 26 to March 20. It brings up anything and anyone from the past. These are valuable for you.

You’ll be a bit feisty / ornery over shared expenses and monies with your partner, but this is resolved early in March. And then March is a fantastic month to create your secret masterpiece. Make it as weird and wonderful as you long for it to be.

But is it good for executive decisions, asking for a raise, leading a call to arms, or defeating your enemies? Absolutely not. Put those off until next month, if you can.

Cherish this month in your workspace / home that you’ve slaved so hard to get together. Pressure will make you think, “Oh, did I…I forgot to do that…there’s still this to be done…” bla bla bla. Let it go. Put it way back in the freezer until next season.

When you wake up in the mornings, do something productive and efficient that will make you proud. Clear your desk, light a candle, read a new book, catch up on your paperwork, begin a gentle cleanse; any of these will produce extraordinarily lucky longterm results.

Also, finalize your plans. That’s when you know it’s time to relax.

Life has been a struggle for Cancers lately. You’re about to see this lift. Pleasure. You need some now.

As March continues, with so many sparkling invitations coming your way, you’ll be forgiven for wanting to plunge in and enjoy yourself. After Venus moves into your tenth career house March 6, your feeling of power and success in the world increases. I see an exciting opportunity at a distance. Important life path and career decisions are made at this time.

When it comes to matters of sex, your thinking this month will NOT be the clearest. You have the seductive enchantment of Neptune casting a spell over you, and mischievous Uranus swaying you this way and that as March gets underway.

You get passionate about something or someone that makes absolutely no sense for you politically.

Enjoy the movie but remember it’s just a movie. (Neptune rules film and mirages!) But you can ENJOY.

Remember that your real fortune for the next year is what you have learned and what you know from the past, and in your powers of self-care and self-expression.

Which are extraordinary. (As if you didn’t know.)

And, by the way, what happened to that great masterpiece you were going to unleash onto the world?

I know that family and home concerns have taken up more of your time lately, but you are soon to get back to your creativity full-time, so prepare accordingly.

Finally, no needless squabbles, stop pushing yourself so hard, allow for daydreaming, self-indulgent melancholy days, and you have the most rewarding March ever. Travel is encouraged.
