Happy Birthday, Leo! It’s your special Leo season, with the Sun, your awesome ruler, brilliant Mercury, and a generous new Moon on Thursday, July 24 all lit up to celebrate you. My only warning at this time is excessive luxury: Mars in your second financial house makes you spend more than usual and your expenses rise. This lasts until Wednesday, August 6.

Compromising relationships are left behind as the burning question is about you being legitimate – for reals. It’s the integrity of your work. It speaks for itself. No matter what spin idiot detractors try to put on it. It is how you achieve your legitimacy, your legacy, your lifetime security. Even though you turn into a pumpkin – as we all do for Mercury retrograde – and it throws wrenches and delays into your finances for three weeks, after this it will be smooth sailing and you view a new life direction for yourself.

And forward thirst is what this new life path is going to be all about. Following your most ambitiously wild dreams.

Gemini’s gestures to impress cease. This will be a time of reckoning for those who have allowed pride and greed to take over to the extent that they are no longer healthy. Forcing the eyes open is a painful surgery! So don’t be surprised if, prior to your deeper vision, you are in agony.

For the world, this will be overwhelmingly positive. After much doublespeak, the truth – no matter what it reveals – will be a great relief. August’s last week will be an eye-opener, in every sense of the word.

Every country has its secrets, but the two most highlighted during this time will be America (higher ups coming off their pedestals) and to a lesser extent Britain (the royal family.)

I end with Shakespeare – the greatest, Leo Jupiter – who always wrote of the direct connection between the heavens, stars, nature, animals, and human beings.

Your seeing has been taken up with stressful changes – even if the change or birth was the best thing in the world, it’s still stressful – and it’s time to acknowledge that.

After August your insecurity about sex and other people’s (or a company’s money, or a country’s money) is GONE. If you’ve been waiting for a big check to come in, it is likely to then. Meaning you can get pickier now in terms of which projects you take on. You don’t have to take them all on now to cover your bases. Just one or two or three is fine. And better for your work and reputation.

In fact, take time off this August! You could do what you’re doing with your eyes closed.

During your break, start that project you’ve been putting off (the one you love). Not only will it be a huge success, it will also bring unforeseen financial rewards. Just beware, as August begins, that someone, say a huge authority, does not try to pull the hood over your eyes. Think of a polite way to say, “No fast ones, please.”

Look to your partners. Look to your governments. Look to your contracts. You will have great luck here. You will find that investor, find that partner, find the right contract for yourself.

Don’t worry about exhausting your resources. They’re inexhaustible.
