You reach the end of a grueling routine as early as June 29, when a full Capricorn Moon lights up your sixth house. You may feel uncharacteristically exhausted — Leos always have the most energy of any sign — and it’s time to heal yourself rather than holding up others for a change. And let loose into uncharted waters, explore your broader horizons, and work – secretly – on a new plan you have in mind. I say secretly because it’s all in your twelfth house, the most hidden zone of the zodiac. In here, you find your ideas, your intuition, your solitude, and your deepest spirituality. It’s time to dive into it.

If you can get away to an actual retreat, all the better. You must honor more selfish “me” time. You think up a brilliant business plan, creative idea, beautiful design. This time before your birthday is quieter and more reflective than usual.

You are in a serious gestation period. Percolating, not ready to be born yet, nor to be revealed publicly.

You’ll have it all together — you must finalize the details for yourself now — as soon as the end of July! But for now, it’s like you are living in a submarine. But until then – as you must say to your children – take a Time Out. It will push you forward more than you could ever have dreamed, sacrifices included, and you will have better karma for it.

A Leo rules herself. But a Leo who streamlines at the right times rules the world. As you will do! You are weeding out the closets of your life in a brilliant, brave, and extraordinary way.

And what you need to streamline now is your priorities. You have so many options in your career life – a million pots a bubbling on the stove – but you will succeed the best if you narrow them all down. To one or two, to which you give your all.

For those of you who have been pulled back into the darkness too many times — and darkness is at odds with your natural self, the SUN, after all — this will feel like a strange and mysterious time.

This month may at times seem to have a kind of milky fog around it. You may just feel utterly exhausted, as in blurry, with no sleep. It’s a very short period, however, and nothing to be worried about. What it really is is a translucent sheet of protection offered by the universe for you to go through your almighty change.

Remember, change, even when it is the best thing, is traumatic in its very nature.

Whether you are getting the itch to throw out old clothes or sell an old (albeit lovely) albatross around your neck – go with it.

With the universe’s protection, you ‘ll see the fine results most dramatically in your work and your creativity.

A loved one may have betrayed you harshly. You may have had to wait longer in your quest for birth (waiting, I believe, is the hardest part of the human condition). You may have been feeling like a version of Sartre’s existential angst.

Now, there are some lazy male lions – wild lions in nature sleep twenty hours a day – only the males – who will not ever want to get it together this lifetime, and my hat is off to them, but they’re probably not reading my horoscope.

Drifting is not the same as laziness. You are searching. You are trying to accomplish. You wish to give birth (on all levels).

When your ruler the shining Sun is in the darkest house – the twelfth – it sometimes feels like the darkest time. It is the darkest before dawn. And you’re being protected.

You learn much this July.

It’s better for you to go your own way, have some quiet alone time, than to head directly into the fray. The Sun, and your glorious ruler, is in your twelfth house of seclusion, and you will gain many psychic insights if you spend some time in there! Mysteries will be solved, and hidden feelings revealed.

You’ve had more than enough drama for a long while. And much of this energy has been concerning another person, their needs, their issues.

You’ve been sympathetic, generous, and kind. You’ve given time to helping everyone else, so naturally you need a break for yourself now.
