You define yourself extra sharply this month. Career has been going in fits and starts due to Mercury retrograde in your tenth house of career (November 9 to 29) but it’s soon over and all is sailing again. Money continues to be a pressure with Saturn (and recently Neptune retrograde) in your second financial house but remember you are building a legacy. No immediate relief as we all pray for, but longterm security will be provided for you.

Retrogrades also bring up the past and old secrets and there are now five planetary bodies in retrograde. Mercury, Jupiter, Uranus, Neptune, Chiron are all retrograde. Ancient secrets from other times.

A good astrologer is a great detective as well as a healer, and I’ve always been a personal fan of the kid who shouts out the truth in Hans Christian Andersen’s The Emperor’s New Clothes. Our beloved writer of moralistic fairy tales was born a brave Aries on April 2, 1805 in Odense, Denmark.

Going further here, Scorpio traditionally rules the eighth house, which rules, beyond secrets, other people’s money, shared resources, mutual funds, taxes, inheritance.

Within your own chart look at which planets you have in Scorpio and in which houses. Also on which cusp you have Scorpio. This gives you a clue as to where more light of day – secrets, revelations – will soon shine!

In your case, Aquarius, look at the areas of your success. Lao Tzu, born with his Jupiter in your fellow air sign of Libra in 570 BC, wrote: “If a man’s time comes, he will be successful; if not, he will not be successful.” So, it has everything to do with timing, and luck — and from you, preparedness and right action.

You are blessed with the gift of foresight – Aquarius is the sign of visionary, after all. You are often ahead of your time. So you have to wait for the rest of the world to catch up. And this means being more patient. And all that Saturn is asking of you is to be patient with others. Your professional community in particular. Lessons need to be learned here still. Saturn is taking care of all of it — let him do his job.
