In your home and domestic household where you really should be happy as a clam now, I advised you to prepare yourself for disappointment over how your fellow humans were setting their priorities. It seemed that the lower end of human nature may have been eroding good will in the current situation. Due to a strong cultural trend toward scarcity thinking, a “me first” outlook prevailed. If that meant that you needed to develop a thick skin or carry your sword of truth closer, then you did so.

The most significant astrological event of the month, however, is the Lunar Nodes switching signs: the North Node moves into Taurus, and the South Node moves into Scorpio. And where does the North Node in Taurus hit you? Your seventh house of relationships. This means that, however thick your skin is now, or how deeply you are barricaded in your home this February, you still have to deal with relationships. And no, love is not over for you. Just in hiatus as you continue to strengthen your boundaries.

With an early family member – with whom you may have been estranged for a while – try not to be too quick to anger or jump to conclusions. Just because others may have a pessimistic sense of the world, their reality does not have to undermine yours. There certainly is no point in struggling or competing with them. Your challenge now is to learn how to sidestep confrontation and evoke a more evolved response from people. At the very least, be assertive about setting those boundaries for yourself.

Home is where it’s at, with a welcome increase in your security mid-month. Leaving certain stability for a promising unknown has been unexpectedly grim. You’re rarely scared, but it’s been truly a scary time. You’ll be able to breathe much easier after February begins. Then all will be settled and you can get down to your work and ideas happily for the next nine months. Sorting your home base is really key. Money and lack of faith are the issues that have been holding you back.

It’s crucial also to reach out to a sibling, old neighbor or friend who FEELS like a sibling. In a freaky way, she / he symbolizes the odd role model that you’ve been resisting for yourself for years. As of February 1, your individuality is highlighted and you bravely go out on a limb because your life path demands it. Immediate results will not be forthcoming – too many retrogrades at work – but the end harvest is spectacular. Success comes from your most original – and iconoclastic – ideas.

So no dwelling on worst case scenarios, Scorpio. You have too much good up ahead to be pessimistic. What’s happening now – WTH? – is going to turn out fine.
