Sagittarius March 2021

You’re keeping some kind of secret which is very interesting. A love secret! There’s so much going on this month for you that I will simply go through it chronologically, as you need structure and security more than usual now due to the shifting sands beneath your feet.

Mercury just went direct but as it’s in your third house ruling the internet and computers, you can see the retrograde problems continue until February 24. You always have to give it three days after the brilliant planet goes direct for the retrograde technical gremlins to go completely. Then a pull toward family is necessary, but the approaching full Virgo Moon on Saturday, February 27 is prompting you to slow down. You’re quick to move from thing to thing, but your time now is better spent in reflection and spiritual pursuit. It may be that your attentiveness to those around you has overtaxed your psyche, and you have started neglecting yourself as a result. Stop conforming to any demands or narrow criteria. When you undermine your self in this way, you undermine your relationships too. You may think you are working extra hard to take care of others, but you are actually abandoning yourself.

This refers you back to your reason for being, your mission in this lifetime. Connect to yourself. Contact and communicate. Now is a period for quiet contemplation. Listen to the voice within. Anything that would interfere with this communion may not be serving your best interests right now.

This full Moon approaches in your tenth career house, so this is where you can most chill.

Sagittarius is about galloping fearlessly forward with no thought of falling. This month, however, you want to find someone who can fill in for you – and YOU take time at home to replenish. Delegate! You don’t have to build Rome in a day and my concern is a burn out. Home is also where you need to make a big decision. Public life, private life.

After mid-month, the planets caress your fifth House of pleasure, and you are delighted with a certain someone, and by unexpected moments of intimacy and affection.

As hard as you are trying to keep it all under control at home, life – and change – win out. Your ruler Jupiter has your back!

The poet Edna St. Vincent Millay was born with Saturn in Sagittarius. She is the famous creator of burning the candle at both ends —

My candle burns at both ends;

But ah, my foes, and oh, my friends—
It gives a lovely light!

She lived a lovely light but not for long, dying at the early age of 58. So, not to freak you out, dear Sag, but you gotta get a handle on this! You are a fire sign after all, burning with ideas and creativity, a flame to inspire others. And we want to keep that flame burning.

Another great artist I must bring up – pure Sagittarius Sun Jimi Hendrix, born November 27. His massive talent and famous “Are you experienced?” lasted until the age of 27.

After March 3, you will encounter a domestic-relationship challenge which may force you to alter your lifestyle. No biggie, no tragedy. It just must be done.

This goes for Sagittarius Jupiters, too. And – to be prudent – for everyone: Look at the part of your chart that is ruled by Sagittarius. (Look for the arrow on the outside of the circle that is your chart.) This is the house where abundant Jupiter is bringing so much you feel like you could implode! You have to figure out a way to handle it. (For me, Libra and Libra rising, it is my third house ruling writing, communication, the internet, neighbors, siblings and sibling types, short trips, and trains, planes, and automobiles. No surprise there.)

Then take a look at where Mars is in your chart. Mine is going between my eighth house to, on Wednesday, March 3, my ninth house. See which two houses it is going between for YOU. That is where the planetary agitation is. Mars is the god of war, and the warrior planet. For you, Sagittarius, it is between your sixth house to, on Wednesday, March 3, your seventh house. This is the domestic-relationship issue I mentioned earlier, and it is connected to your health.

People are also being nicer to you this March. Travel plans are of course restricted due to Covid but you bear the pain, and the pain is not so bad.

What you do have to work on? It’s a pesky issue of your reputation and how you are in your professional circles. As well as your shared resources.

It seems you may have stirred some people up in the past – people with whom you professionally and socially connect. Although it may not be your fault, per se, you still have to deal with it.

It would be wise to mend some bridges, and to correct some assumptions. What a drag, eh? But this, for your better benefit, is what you must do.

Think of yourself in twenty years and how you would like your life to be.
