Libra February 2023

February is the month your lucky breaks start to come in. Much that you’ve prayed for. You’ve been stressed, and a new lightness is calling your name. Through two surprising forms this February: 1) a new playmate, and 2) an invitation to explore your passions. Deeply and creatively. Both will bring you vastly improved wealth, better treatment from others – and more joy.

Hot fun in the summertime is exactly what the doctor ordered and you haven’t experienced this in some time – even when it was summer!

Your life wants to change and you need to hear this. Your environment feels to me to be a source of friction. Breakthrough time! Saturn in your fourth house: squabbles at home, fighting over property, tension with neighbors, breaking up with loved ones. I, like everyone else, see that you need to make a firm decision. And you’re torn between your loyalty to another and what’s healthiest for you.

After February 18, the Sun in your sixth house gives you support to kick a habit. (Using only half a billionth of its energy, the Sun keeps every single life-form on Earth alive.)

Do the right thing. Change that self-destructive thing you do. Kick that ugly addiction you subscribe to. Get close to your natural self.

And you don’t have to go across the world to do it either. You can do it any time, any where, as long as you’ve got yourself.

If you start now, you are going to be looking FABULOUS – quite soon.

All worry ceases about your appearance and self-image as of Saturday, February 14 – isn’t it amazing this is Valentine’s Day?

So this tells me something fantastic will be happening by then.

Remember, you are kicking an old and very persistent habit — whether it’s to drama or crisis, or giving up your addiction to helping certain people, or procrastinating, or quitting alcohol, smoking or caffeine (or drugs, or overeating, or…) — and it will be tough at first.

But you have more support than you will for a whole year to do this – so DO IT!

You have been much better about money recently (and you so woulda been a shopaholic) and I know you can do whatever it is you need to do now.

For in your fifth house of passion you have:

The energy and intention of the awesome Sun

The beauty and charm of your ruler Venus

The brilliant communication and thought of Mercury

Stick-to-it Saturn of enduring legacy

You will be much sharper about saving money.

You will save yourself hours – if not years – brought on by indirectness.

Yay, Libra! You’ve had to go through a helluva lot to reclaim your REAL SELF.

Congratulations!…And keep going. This month, you flourish by being tougher and more practically self-protective. It gets easier, but as you’ve learned by now, it ain’t overnight. Nothing like the hardship it has been though!

With Chiron in your sixth house of self-care, this is where you need the most work. Chiron is the wound that never heals. You do heal though. By improving your health, creating and following special rituals and routines which delight you. It’s all the way you take care of yourself. The way you manifest your aesthetic.

You do this by remembering the lessons you’ve learned in your fourth house of home and family (never to be taken for granted again!) and taking responsibility for all the ways YOU made it hard to come to the place you are now — and it IS a good place, it’s the best.

Nurturing and sustenance are both areas that require your increased discipline. With realism, structure – and some conservatism.

February 2023 will be a turning point in your life, Libra. If you ALLOW it to be. Take yourself seriously. Make the effort everyday, giving yourself routines and rituals which you enjoy. Go along with others’ ridiculous bureaucratic delays. Keep being patient.

Which leads me right into talking about the asteroid Ceres.

Ceres is all about nurturing – the nurturing you got when you were young, and the nurturing you give yourself now as an adult. Some of you didn’t receive very good training in terms of your self-care, how to take care of yourself. Either it was emphasized too much, or neglected, and you were made to feel bad about it altogether. So this month we look at how to make it better.

Even when you do well, or have done well, it is hard for you to LET yourself do well. Or to believe it. If you lacked nurturing in a certain area, it’s harder to give it to yourself later, when grownup. You could even feel guilty about it in a weird way. Kind of like survivor’s remorse.

It’s challenging to learn new nurturing habits and behaviors – but it’s not impossible. It’s like anything else – you just need to do it DIFFERENTLY. Try new things!

This February, you will receive deeply RELIEVING information about a familial matter that’s been worrying you.

A home concern is wonderfully settled, and then February is for creating and enjoying! Can you believe Libra finally gets an easier time of it? Expansion becomes you and you’re no longer afraid. The thaw has begun. You carry your past proudly, and try things you’ve never done before and, if single, you date someone very different than usual.

Scorpio Diane Arbus once said, I really believe there are things which nobody would see unless I photographed them. And so it is with you, Libra. The world would be a poorer place without you. What you have to offer, no one else could do. And so you have to do it. You dare to dream big for your fifth house demands to be fulfilled.

Your ideas will sell like hotcakes, by the way. Rush to commit them to paper. Don’t be shy.

You’re truly digging for gold this February. You find it, too.

After months of getting no breaks, your luck begins to turn around this February.

Life also becomes easier money-wise, particularly if you freelance, and if you are waiting on someone else’s money. And friends and professional community. There, also, you will begin to feel relief.

February is the dreariest month – except for Valentine’s Day, bang in the middle to bring us joy. And not only for sweethearts! For those of us who are alone, and more of us are, and by choice, than at any other time in human history, Valentine’s Day is about expressing your love. For your friends, for your fur babies, for your family, for – whomever, or whatever brings you love: express all of it! I believe we all have love in our hearts, and this is why I read you.

My job as astrologer / healer / palmist / psychic is to encourage and activate self-love, too. Very important: love YOURSELF on Valentine’s Day! Buy yourself flowers, take yourself to that movie / exhibit you’ve been dying to see, indulge in a luxurious bubble bath, treat yourself to a luscious dinner. Eat the ice cream. Why not? Love is love. It is good. It is the best.
