The big news is the highly unusual lengthy transit of Mars in Gemini – which affects YOU more than any other sign of the zodiac. Mars makes you charismatic and sexy beyond belief; it can also make you irritable and likely to lose your temper. It is in your sign from 3 days ago, August 20 until March 25, 2023. A whopping seven months in Gemini! And in your first house, affecting your body, your behavior, and how you appear to others.

So if that job or lover can be won by pure chutzpah – Mars will give it to you. Take it! You’ve been worried enough about money, haven’t you? I bet you were thinking about money as you started reading this horoscope. And Geminis really need more work nowadays. But here’s the fun part – you will also have an enormous affect on others – they will burn for you (as Mars does) – for these seven months. Creatives, Mars could stir up some impressive ideas, especially unexpectedly and out of the blue with Uranus making merry in your twelfth unconscious house.

A warning tidbit: with Mercury – and Mercury is your ruling planet so you are affected doubly – going retrograde –  meaning PAST in your fifth house of love and creations, past lovers will undoubtedly pop up. The Mercury retrograde is September 9 to October 2.  So watch out especially during this time NOT TO be unfaithful if you have made an agreement to be exclusive (impulse sex will be the order of the day), and not to lose your temper and burn bridges which cannot be built back.

Also, not to seduce just for the sake of seduction, unless…well, you know. You’re always secretly the femme fatale of any situation.

If anyone is going to make the move, you will be the primary instigator (although you will not be operating entirely alone.) When you take a step or see things around you change, it will seem to happen in a blink of the eye. After an endless time of being held up…ha ha.

With so much blessing you in your fourth house of home and family you’ll be able to stop screaming in frustration about communicating with certain relatives, particularly the ones you squabble with so easily. Great relief! You can even look forward to the new Moon on Saturday, August 27, as the beginning of a new chapter. Someone may move out, and it will be a good and positive thing.

That’s what Virgo loves to do: Help. Fix things. Make all better. You could resolve more in therapy this September than any other time.

A lot of people during this time of fix-it Virgo (until October 22) want to prioritize and clean up their act. It’s not just you. After the excesses and exaggeration of Leo in public, this will not fly anymore once the month gets underway. Virgo is less, Leo is more. Virgo believes in economy, minimalism, modesty, care, solutions and purism. A very different emphasis coming our way. Show offs will be out, making repairs will be in.

Virgo is the “virgin” as in virgin olive oil, the purest of essences. Virgo is all about purity, so over this month organic becomes an even stronger force.

As Mercury is your ruler you’ve been doubly affected by its retrograde, but this time round it’s not SO bad. As it goes retrograde in your fifth house of love and creations, you will either experience a Shakespearean type comedy of errors in your love life or going back and finishing up a past creative project.

Over the coming two year plus cycle you will learn the difference between a purposeful sacrifice and a needless one, especially where family and money matters are concerned. The Saturn transit will sharpen your wits and help you to hone very practical skills. You will learn how to economize on more than money. You will learn how to put a stop to self-penance or denial. This is an awesome time renovate, inwardly and outwardly. It’s also a time when you start to see a payoff for your past seven years of due diligence. And it is an ideal influence for starting a new home, even a home based business, and for do-it-yourself projects.

Expect all thought and feelings in and about these areas to change radically.
