Cancer October 2021

You have been working very, very hard, and in your exhausted moments you feel as if it might all be in vain. I am here to tell you – not so! A temporary blip of disappointment is indicated around Thursday, September 23, so I want you to plan to take it easy this day – and feel better about yourself. (You can tend to blame yourself if things are not going well.)

Creatives, in particular, you experience a triumph related to your work, Thursday, September 28 and Friday, September 29. Venus in your fifth house of creativity will by hit by magical Neptune in artistic Pisces, and you should plan to be in direct communication with the muses then. Reserve that time for creating and recording the ideas you receive. They will prove to be very successful.

Because Venus also rules love, those two dates will also be very romantic. And Friday, September 29, the Moon will be in your sign (things go more in your favor when the Moon is your sign), it will be an especially enchanted evening. So – only if you’re stumped creatively! – you should go out on a date then.

The anxiety pole shifts after this time. After higher stakes at work, and over-reaction from and with work colleagues, you’re ready to commit to a fuller personal life, and to relax more in relationships. You really have suffered in these areas and been let down by professional colleagues quite badly.

A resolution comes to this with the full Aries Moon in your tenth career house on Wednesday, October 20. After being maligned, you are somehow cleared. This full Moon also galvanizes your achievements and brings you much well-deserved recognition; you can expect a deeper experience in both your creativity and in your romantic selves.

But for right now, home and property and family is where it’s at and you’re finishing up some wonderful things. In your fourth house of home you have: the life-giving Sun, brilliant Mercury, powerful Mars, and a lovely new Moon (your natural ruler) Wednesday, October 6.

After this month, your life will not be the same. A change in projects as well as your desires is coming, and you’ll make magic of it! This happens suddenly and unexpectedly, with not much time to plan. Much has to do with your choice of home, and this is where all your recent irritation leaves you. The world will look favorably on your request. I’ll put it this way: no sane or reasonable professional will say no to you.

Better than associates, who seem to be here one moment, gone the next. Frustrating as you watch them indulge in their own Private Idaho of Woe. You can’t take much more of the domestic power struggles, and you won’t. With Mars thrusting you into a new communications cycle and get-ahead program, no worries about striking the right match – just get yourself moving and trust that the road will rise up to meet you as you drive forward.

It is best to view this current Mars cycle – until October 30 in your family house – as a test the waters or trial run phase, especially as discerning Mercury is here also. You may feel as though the stars have dished you out a false start, but that feeling is only despair talking, an ancient sense of defeat. You get a second chance or a completely new fresh start once October truly unfolds.

While in Libra, Mercury can also ignite trust issues, legal issues, and relationship power struggles. You could feel a sense of abandonment or find the need to abandon something or someone you once held as dear. Watch for leaks, guard your valuables and your tongue, keep safe, and avoid polluted environments. Also, be on the watch for people who are polluting to your sense of self or are simply corrupt.

Positively, Mercury in Libra offers an ideal time for soul searching and for inner exploration; seek counseling or other advice if you need it. Mercury in Libra can bring a willingness to give it another try.

The end of October in particular is the time for contract talks, for professional advancement, for stepping into a parenting or more authoritative or responsible role, or for actualizing something that is close to your heart. Until then you may have this sense of false starts – but please remember, this is only a temporary feeling.

As the new moon energizes on Wednesday, October 6,  realize that whatever you do or say can stay with you – or with others, for some time to come. Although you can have a sense of accomplishment or feel that sense of end of the road finality, recognize there is still more to come. Your relationships, as ever, especially with family, are only the tip of your iceberg. Overall, Mercury in your fourth house empowers and emboldens you. Blessed also by the awesome Sun, and that lovely new Moon on October 6, you can expect a window of opportunity, a stroke of luck, a tip, a financial windfall, an event, or something special property-wise.

So no more worrying, sweet Crab! October is your month to renew and restore yourself.

Whatever you have used up in yourself to help others and to move projects forward, will now be given back to you.

You may have had reason to fret over a loved one or family member, but now is the end of it, I promise you. Meaning no more fretting until December. While I’m on this bandwagon (the Cancer-relax-bandwagon), let me say that the past two years you have done an extraordinary job. Being hit by one thing after another for a straight two years is no easy matter. But now let’s turn to those forgotten parts of yourself.

Your body, for one. How you take care of it, for another. Its pleasures. Temporary feelings of contentment would even suffice! As the caretaker that you are, you DO need to turn this care to yourself, you know. A new life is calling to you, and you start to heed that call now. Love and sexual matters will make you happier than you expected by the end of 2021. Whatever you expect (or even dread) now.

As you get into the swing of October, life becomes more playful, and you will – yes you will – almost forget how to worry! It’s all good news, dear Cancer.
